The Thailand Plants are truly integrated electrical discharge machine (EDM) manufacturing plants, handling everything from machine casting to final inspection, producing important core components that include linear motors, printed circuit boards, and ceramic parts.
Our Japanese employees and Thai workforce together strive to deliver the very best products made using top-notch manufacturing processes, day in and day out, in the spirit of “Create, Implement and Overcome Difficulties” embraced in the Sodick corporate motto.
The first factory in Thailand was established in 1988 to act as the Sodick Group’s main production base.
The facility is situated roughly 50 kilometers north of Bangkok, within roughly one hour of the city via the expressway.
