Overview

Development, production and sales of consumables items for Electrical Discharge Machines

The Miyazaki Factory was established as a Sodick EWS Co., Ltd. in 2005.
In July 2022, EWS was merged with Sodick Co., Ltd. Since then, it develops, manufactures and sells wire electrodes for Electrical Discharge Machines and diamond guides that hold the wire.

Introduction

Wire electrode wire

ワイヤ電極線

Used wire is recycled as new wire

The machining performance of wire EDM depends largely on the wire electrode wire used.
The Miyazaki Factory has introduced a melting machine to produce wire electrode wires that can maximize the performance of wire EDM machines.
We are the only company in Japan to manufacture the wire products from the melting materials process to the final products.
In addition, we have established a new technology, "Wire Recycle System" , to recycle the wire of any manufacturer' into a new wire through collection of the used wires, melting them as a valuable resource and production of high quality wires.

Diamond guide

ダイヤモンドガイド

We are working to ensure stable supplies of Sodick genuine guide products to the global marketplace by producing high-value-added products. For example, we use our proprietary technology to produce high-quality single-crystal diamonds with excellent abrasion resistance, that can maintain high-precision wire electrodes for electric discharge machines.
