Shun Ikeda of the Sumo Club wins the Individual Match at the 53rd National Selected Adult Sumo Championship July 29, 2024

Shun Ikeda, a member of our Sumo Team, participated in the 53rd National Selected Businessmen’s Sumo Championship held at Tsubata-cho Permanent Sumo Ground (Tsubata-cho, Kawakita-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture) on July 28, and won the individual competition. They also placed in the top 8 in the team competition.

The Sumo Team also contributes to the local community through teaching local sumo classes.
We will continue to aim for higher rankings in various tournaments. We will also engage in a variety of activities such as promotion and development of sumo and training for young people.
