Solar Power Generation at the Kaga Factory　Reaches 2,500MWh Annual Output May 10, 2024

Solar power generation at the Kaga Factory, our domestic base for the manufacture has achieved an annual power generation output of 2,500 MWh (annual power consumption equivalent to approximately 700 households*1 ).

This will reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions at the Kaga Factory by approximately 1,096 tons*2.

Sodick has set “Addressing environmental management” to promote sustainability activities as one of its most important management issues, and will continue to address the themes of carbon neutrality, global warming, and energy conservation from the perspective of improving corporate value over the medium to long term, and promote group-wide decarbonization management. We will continue to promote group-wide decarbonization management by addressing the themes of carbon neutrality, global warming, and energy conservation from the perspective of enhancing corporate value over the medium to long term.
